How to cast IEnumerable to object
I’m calling a method. It expects it to be an object, but I pass it an IEnumerable. How do I turn it into an object?
You can cast it to object if the parameter is an IEnumerable:
object obj = ((IEnumerable)yourIEnumerable).Cast().First();
Cast it back to IEnumerable – that’s how you turn an object into an IEnumerable.
You can use the method Cast() to do that:
object obj = ((IEnumerable)myIEnumerable).Cast().First();
How to disable big O notation on eclipse?
I like to disable big O notation on Eclipse. Is there any way to do this?
The checkbox “Remove big-O from the list of symbols” is on:
(it’s displayed by default in the Problems view: right-click on a “not a real problem”, and choose “Problems > Analyze’my_problem'” to open a dialog to check)

The present invention relates to a method of and a system for generating correlated multi-level codes from a single block code.
2. Description of the Related Art
As described in Y. Bresler et al., “A Pyramid-Encoded Multi-Level Codes (PEMLC), l “, IEEE Trans. Inform. Theory, Vol. IT-43, No. 6, December 1997, page 1705, multi-level codes (PEMLCs) are generally used to secure communications between a sender and a receiver, since the multi-level codes can be adopted as various multi-level code-sets. As an example of a correlated multi-level code, PEMLCs were developed as defined in ITU-T Recommendation X.601.
In a PEMLC, the transmitter divides a block code into three sub-blocks. The first sub-block is a standard block, and the second and third sub-blocks are correlated (e.g., by addition/subtraction). Such correlated multi-level codes have been adopted for high-speed communications.
In this regard, it is sometimes important to determine whether correlation of the two sub-blocks is properly performed, since improper correlation can produce undesired errors in the communications.Q:
using ruby to save graph
i want to write a ruby script to save a graph drawn in ruby (Gap) to png.
but for some reason i cant save graph content to png, but graph shows ok(by using “openscad” that can save graph as png),
i don’t know what i did wrong.
here is a snippet of my script:
@line = Line.new(@g, 0, 0, 1, 1) # draw line from 0,0 to 1,1
