Four of my photographs are on display during Feb. at The Watchung Art Center in a show entitled “Things People Do”. An artists’ reception will be held Feb. 10 from 1:00-4:00pm. The public is invited. The Art Center is open Wed-Fri from 12:00-3:00pm and Sat. by appt. The Art Center is located at: 18 Stirling Rd., Watchung, NJ 07069.
The Franklin Cultural Arts Council asked to showcase my photography at the Franklin Township Library. Nine of my photos are on exhibit, expected to be there through March. The Library is at 485 DeMott Lane, Somerset, NJ.
I was thrilled with the enthusiasm and critical acclaim of my first ever solo show at Watchung Art Center. The exhibit, titled “Eclectic Works of Lynn Levine,” featured 24 of my photographs taken on trips to Uruguay, Argentina, Turkey, China and Israel. It ran from Jan. 7 to 25.
On Jan. 8, myCentralJersey.com and The Home News Tribune ran a long article about me and my passion for photography. Cheryl Makin, the reporter, captured it in a nutshell. As I told her…and now, you…“I mostly look for things that to me talk about the world. I like doors, faces, architectural interest. I love colors. I do what appeals to me…”
